Word from Jerusalem: Muslim Persecution of Christians

The world has been shocked by the brutality of the Islamic State terror militia, especially as it has targeted the ancient Christian communities of Iraq and Syria. These Islamic jihadists have swept into towns and villages committing unspeakable atrocities. Without anyone coming to their rescue, these Christians feel completely abandoned.

To really understand the enormity of this ongoing tragedy, we need to go back to the birth of the Christian faith in this region 2,000 years ago.

The calling and the mission of the ICEJ is to connect the global church with the land and the people of Israel; to demonstrate the love of the Church towards every segment of the society. This work is especially important in light of the long and tragic history of anti-Semitism.
